Sarafinas was founded to leverage my experience and build something that focuses not on selling, but on delivery. I've spent 17+ years in the data networks industry, thirteen of them at an agency managing vendor relationships and project delivery end to end.
Picking a vendor isn't where projects go wrong. Shortlists are easy to generate now. What's hard is the six months after signing: missed install dates, vendors who go quiet, scope that quietly shifts. That gap is where I work. I qualify the project, build a real shortlist including which vendors to avoid, negotiate pricing and terms, and set the communication structure and escalation contacts before work starts. Then I stay on through delivery, catching a slip before it becomes an issue, and fixing it the week it happens, not the month it becomes a crisis.
I get paid by the vendors, not by you, so my incentive runs the same direction as yours: get it finished.
The vendor is never the expensive part of a technology project. Your time is. The hours spent chasing updates and managing escalations never show up on an invoice, but they still cost the business. I spend that time so you don't have to.
